100m 5Gbps USB3.0 Male to Male Pure Fiber Cable

This kind of USB3.0 Active Optical Cable (AOC) from NEATEL is a USB3.0 electrical to optical conversion module. This product can translate signals between USB3.0 electrical and optical signals. AOC is a cabling technology that accepts the same electrical inputs as a traditional copper cable, but uses optical fiber “between the connectors”. AOC uses electrical to optical conversion on the cable ends to improve speed and distance performance of the cable without sacrificing compatibility with standard electrical interface. USB3.0 AOC can extend the transmission distance of USB3.0 transmission to more than 100 meters. AOC offer a quick solution to supply longer cable for USB3.0 application.


Features and Applications

NEATEL NTU3P has two USB3.0 Standard-A connectors, and each end of this connector has one chip (V0510) to complete the conversion of photoelectric and electro-optical, and the middle connecting line is high-speed multimode optical fiber transmission signal. Without any other connector or power adapter, NEATEL NTU3P is powered by vBus of two USB3.0 Standard-A connectors.


CAUTION: NEATEL NTU3P supports only USB3.0 compatible devices, but with the Optional Accessories adapter, USB 2.0 and 1.1 compatible devices can also be supported.
