NT1296_300mm Anchoring Clamps for ADSS Round Cable
Item Description
NEATEL ADSS anchor clamp is designed to anchor insulated ADSS conductors to the pole or wall. The clamp is composed of a body, wedges and removable and adjustable bail or pad. ADSS anchoring clamp are design to supporting the neutral messenger, the wedge can be self-adjusting. Pilot wires or street lighting conductor are led alongside the clamp. The self opening is featured by an integrate spring facilities for easily insert the conductor into the clamp.
Features and Applications
Material of adjustable anchor clamp

1) The clamp body, the main mechanical component is manufactured in heavy duty weatherproof synthetic material.
2) The wedge, made from synthetic material exerts necessary mechanical pressure in retaining the cable in the body of the clamp.
3) The pull hook is made from anti corrosion rod.
4) For anchoring isolated coaxial and unipolar cables.

Feature of adjustable tension clamp

1) Simple and fast installation requiring no tools.
2) Suits to all field configurations.
3) Possible to mount on pole line hardware with open or closed eye.
4) Mechanical traction resistant.
5) Supports industrial duty tension.
6) Corrosion resistant.
7) Weatherproof.
Technical Parameter

For the correct installing cable dead end clamp, the following steps are recommended:

1) Loosen the mooring hook from the anchor clamp.
2) Place the hook en the place to be mooring point or support, fixing it inside the body of the clamp
3) Remove the wedge from its base and then place the cable within the clamp.
4) Replace the wedge to its corresponding position and proceed to tense the cable taut.

Standard Compliance

1.1 Compatible Cable Diameter

For holding cable with a diameter of 6 mm (DROP type fiber optic cable).

1.2 Clamp Components

Minimum three elements: -Main body (where the adjustable jaw system will be housed)

-Jaw with teeth (wedge) for securing the drop cable together with the main body

-Outdoor steel metal hook for attaching to the overhead distribution network

1.3 Material of the main body and the jaw with teeth (2 elements)

- Fiberglass-reinforced ABS thermoplastic with UV protection

1.4 Corrosion protection of the metal hook

Either of the following options:

- Option 1: Stainless steel wire, with a diameter of 3.5 mm that complies with any of the following standards: - (AISI 304) - EN 1.4301 - Option 2:

Hot-dip galvanized steel wire with a diameter of 3.5 mm that complies with any of the following standards: - NTE INEN-ISO 1461 (national) - ISO 1461 (international) - ASTM A 123/A123M (American) - EN ISO 1461 (European) Or any other standard that is technically equal to or higher than the standards mentioned above.

1.5 Operation

When the wedge slides into the main body, it will automatically exert pressure on the cable after a small manual push, creating a secure hold.

1.6 Nominal installation voltage (installation load) 90 daN

1.7 Tensile strength 200 Kgf

1.8 Finish The finished part must be free of cracks, cavities, blowholes, surface or internal defects, and any other flaw that could affect its operation. According to different structures and installation conditions, clamps can be roughly divided into two categories.
