NEATEL Direct Attach Cable 1.6T is an 1600Gb/s twin-port OSFP Closed Finned Top to 2 x 800Gb/s OSFP Flat Top (Integrated Heat Sink to Riding Heat Sink) Active Copper Splitter Cable (ACC). The ACC uses 8-channels of 200G-PAM4 modulation and has lengths of 1~2.5 meters. ACC cables are the second lowest-cost, low-latency, low-power consuming, high-speed links next to passive DACs due to their simplicity of design and minimal components.

✔ Doubled Bandwidth Density: Compared to 2×400G, the port density remains the same, but the bandwidth is doubled, significantly improving rack and data center efficiency.


✔ Simplified Cabling: A single OSFP 800G cable (fiber optic or DAC/AEC) replaces the multiple lower-speed cables previously required, simplifying cabling and management.


✔ Future-Proof: Lays the foundation for a smooth evolution to 1.6T ports in the future. Many 1.6T ports can be split into two 800G connections.


✔ Improved Application Performance: Significantly reduces the time required for large dataset transfers, checkpoint saving, and model synchronization.
