This kind of Single-fiber optical cable with an external diameter of 3.0 mm. At one end there is a standard SC/APC type connector and at the other end there is a reinforced thin connector, used for optical measurements at the ports of external optical terminal boxes with optical adapters. The cable consists of a single-mode G.657.A2 optical fiber strand with low sensitivity to bending, protected by two concentric coatings covered by a layer of aramid fibers to maintain the cable's adequate mechanical strength and an outer thermoplastic layer of ivory-colored flame retardant material, with low smoke emission and free of halogens.
